I’m happy to welcome one of my L.A. neighbors to the Roll Call.  Cheers, Alan.  I’m proud of you, man. 
I hope 2008 is off to a great start for all of you. It bears repeating: this space is available for any of you to contribute to at any time.  It will be as interesting (or as boring) as we make it.

Much needed R&R

When Scott returned from Iraq, we needed some R&R so we headed down to Mexico (March 2007).  We stayed at the most beautiful hotel, the Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun.  It was All-Inclusive, but 5 star all the way.  The food and drinks were FABULOUS!  I highly recommend it.   This picture was taken during that trip on an excursion to Tulum.

Welcome to the folks in Belarus!

Bad news: our Belarus connection is not a secret agent travelling abroad on a fantastic mission for the you-know-what. I could type the letters here, but then our blog would get much more attention than it deserves. Paranoid much? That’s me.

Good news: Jenn has checked in from Belarus. Hopefully she’ll enlighten us about what life like in Eastern Europe. Welcome, Jenn, glad to have you aboard.

I know, I know, I said I wouldn’t greet each & every person who joined the Roll Call . . . but I wanted an excuse to share this photo with all of you . . .
